I thought that I had seen a Bald Eagle around Delaware several times over the last 6 months, but the sightings were only quick glimpses out of the corner of my eye.

This afternoon, during the snowstorm, I spotted a Bald Eagle down at the river eating a fish that it had just caught.  I watched it for 10 minutes, and managed to take a couple of pictures, so there’s no doubt, it was definitely a Bald Eagle.

I managed to get within about 25 feet, before a snowplow startled it.
